New Year

I guess it's been a while since I posted, but needless to say, I LOVED my summer. It was perfect in every way. I miss my life, but I am glad to say that this year, I've decided to be more positive about things in Ithaca. It would have been great had I developed this attitude change a little earlier in the semester, but better late than never.

I decided to be more grateful for what I had rather than think about how life is so chaotic in business school. I'm really grateful for the chance to take time out and learn about things and that I actually got it together before things became too crazy. While I am definitely not caught up in the recruiting frenzy (and it does cause me to have some severe anxiety sometimes), I know what I want to do, and I want to be focused so I can do it. And also, what I want to do requires that you pick a city and then begin developing long term relationships in that city.

This year is going to be difficult, especially if things don't work out perfectly, but I am not going to be discouraged by the possibility that it won't be perfect. I've already had a pretty nice life so far, and I'm grateful for everything that's come my way. All I can do at this point is to do my best, and I believe that if I know I did all I could to make things work out, then it will be easier to collect myself in the event that things don't.

Here's a picture of me riding Chevy.
